Treasuring God in our Traditions

As Christmas approaches, I think this is a perfect time to reflect on traditions and the role that they play in families.

Before reading Treasuring God in our Traditions I had not thought much about the role that traditions play in shaping the ways that children think about life - and holidays in particular. Noel Piper did an excellent job of setting me straight, and giving some helpful advice toward creatively and deliberately choosing and establishing traditions that set our children's eyes properly on God.

So as we approach Christmas day, I wanted to solicit your input on traditions that have helped you to see and savor Jesus in Christmas.
