Sitting by herself

Last week Elisabeth sat by herself (without sitting on my lap, or right in front of me on the floor) for the first time in her museum classes! Usually she is happy to be independent during the discovery time, but when it comes to the story time, she is more timid and clingy. So I was all the more impressed when twice this week she sat on the floor with the other kids (at least those who weren't clinging to their parents or care-givers) to participate.

It is an encouragement to me that the Daddy-daughter classes are having a positive developmental effect!
