The swimmer

Today Elisabeth took huge strokes forward in swimming. On the first week (in late September) she was afraid to get in the water at all. Today she was motoring around the pool all by herself! She had a float pack on her back, and a "noodle" under her arms - and she swam quite literally all over the pool . . . without holding Daddy's hand! When it came time to jump in from the side, she didn't have to hold my hands in order to jump. She jumped right into my arms and made a tremendous splash! It is amazing the progress that she has made in one month. (I'm an optimistic dad, and I didn't think she'd get this much confidence in so short a time.)
