Alphabet order

Last night we had dinner with some friends who also have a young child. They had letter tiles for their daughter, which Elisabeth thought was fantastic. She carried them up to our hostess and said,

"Let's put them in alphabet order."

Though she has had her letters and letter sounds down for quite a while now, I didn't realize that she had the concept of alphabetical order.
