Can I have this please?
Elisabeth found an appealing looking can in the grocery store with a cartoon drawing on it, and brought it to Mommy.
"Mommy, can I have this please?" (She remembered her manners.)Clearly the advertising people missed their market on this one.
"No, sweetheart, that's dog food."
"But I want it!" (Manners fading . . .)
"Sweetheart, that food is for dogs."
"But I like it!" (Good-bye manners.)
